The resort is an oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are well maintained but need a bit of maintenance to be undertaken. The facilities provided in the room are adequate and replenished regularly. The hygiene of the washroom also needs a bit of attention as the shower curtain was quite dirty and it looked like it had not been changed in quite a while. The WC was a bit dirty too and I had to ask the housekeeping staff to pay special attention to cleaning the same thoroughly. The service staff need to be trained and this is an immediate necessity. The lawns, walkways and the garden with all its statues and motifs are kept in excellent condition so kudos to the staff. One simple suggestion, have a dedicated supervisor to oversee the maintenance of the rooms and the upkeep of the washrooms in particular. The food is of a very good standard and it caters primarily to the Indian/Gujarati clientele. Overall a good experience and we enjoyed ourselves.

Stayed at Aranya Vilas for 2 nights in January with my husband. A mixed feeling about this place ! It’s a beautifully done up property( the outdoors), the lush greenery is well maintained. The location is away from the crowded main tourist area yet approachable, the staff was polite , the food was decent. What I was disappointed in - - I booked Luxury villa with bath tub, it costed me 9500/- per night with breakfast. Honestly, when I entered the room I was disappointed. It did not give me the feel for the price I payed. One cannot put a price on luxury, but for 9500 room I would expect it to be better. For eg the towels were not very clean they were yellowish, the bed sheet kept coming off every time we slept on the bed, the the toiletries provided were very average, the room had very simple feel to it dint feel Luxurious at all No carpets just simple marble flooring definitely not worth the price ! Coming from a hospitality business myself I was disappointed and I felt the room did not do justice for the price paid.

Beautiful property , walking distance from Lake Pichhola and even from Jagdish temple chowk, tent rooms though interior wise lovely ,but are close to each other and sound from neighbouring tents is so clearly audible ,it may be little disturbing. Food is delectable. Restaurant and Hotel both are Highly recommended.

Was a very comfortable stay. The property is serene and is aptly named as aranya Vilas. It’s located at the heart of the old city and still maintains the foresty vibe.|The rooms are spacious and clean. Restaurant has good quality food. Service is good and they are responsive to requests.|We had a very good stay overall
